Luciana Thompson, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Luciana Thompson, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a dedicated psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over 20 years of professional experience. She proudly serves as the clinical director at Compass Mental Health & Wellness in North Houston, Texas.

Luciana earned a nursing diploma from JFK/Muhlenberg Regional School of Nursing in Plainfield, New Jersey, and an associate degree in nursing from Union County College in Cranford, New Jersey. She earned a Bachelor of Science from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia, before earning her Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

As the clinical director of Compass Mental Health & Wellness, Luciana is responsible for implementing and evaluating operations related to patient care, monitoring patient responses to treatments, and documenting patients’ medical and psychological histories.

Luciana is experienced in diagnosing various psychiatric disorders, mental health conditions, and medical conditions. She analyzes patient data to determine treatment goals and collaborates with team members to develop informed personalized care plans for all of her patients.

Luciana is a proud veteran of the US Navy and is honored to be able to assist other veterans in overcoming their mental health challenges. In her free time, she volunteers with local organizations like the Boys and Girls Club of America and the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS).
